N5bn Palliative To Be Shared Among 36 States –FG

To cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy N5 billion palliative has been given to each state of the federation including the federal capital territory.

The announcement was made by Babagana Zulum the governor of Borno State at the end of a National Economic Meeting (NEC).

Zulum told state house correspondents in Abuja after the NEC meeting presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

The council is made up of governors of the 36 states, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other government officials.
