N100 Bribe: Killer Cop Dismissed, Police Vow To Obtain Justice

A Police Inspector in Delta State, Ubi Ebri has been dismissed after he allegedly killed a 26-year-old businessman Onyeka Ibe over an N100 bribe.

Late Onyeka refused to pay an N100 bribe when the police accosted him along the Ugbolu-Asaba road in the State.

The incident reportedly took place in front of Federal Medical Centre Asaba where the deceased, a phone seller in Ogbogonogo market was shot on the head. He was declared dead in FMC.

The action which led to protests in the State as angry youths took the corpse on a stretcher to the state police headquarters which prompted the State Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali to issue an arrest warrant for the killer cop.

Meanwhile, the suspect will be arraigned on Wednesday, the 19th of April, 2023.
