More Jobs in the UK as Nigerian Banks and Fintech Step In

It seems Nigerian banks, fintech companies, and creative industry businesses are set to create hundreds of jobs in the United Kingdom with the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The announcement was made by the UK government following the two-day visit and arrangements as the President and First Lady were welcomed in London.

The ceremonial visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi, to the United Kingdom marks a 37-year span as the first Nigerian president to be hosted at Windsor Castle today and tomorrow.

They will be meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday for a bilateral meeting at 10 Downing Street.

The business announcements were contained in a press release published by the UK’s Department for Business and Trade on Tuesday, which covers financial services, technology, education, and the creative industries.
