Mike Ejeagha Confirmed Buried 24 Hours After Death

‎Legendary musician Mike Ejeagha, who passed away on Friday night at the age of 95, has been confirmed buried in his country home by members of his family.

‎It was disclosed by the eldest son, Emmanuel Ejeagha, on Sunday that the highlife musician was buried 24 hours after his death to fulfill his wish.
‎
‎Emmanuel disclosed that his father was laid to rest in his country home in Umuagba, Imezi-Owa, in the Ezeagu Council Area of Enugu State.
‎
‎He said his father gave him a stern instruction as the first son not to embalm his body after death, and when the incident occurred on Friday, family members were summoned, and even the governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, consented to the wish of the late singer.
‎
‎According to a telephone interview on Sunday, the son said his father made a wish and warned him personally never to embalm him after his death, which they had fulfilled.
‎
‎Emmanuel concluded that to avoid consequential results, they had to follow instructions; however, the funeral ceremony of his father would soon be announced.
