Max Aircraft Loose Tyres At Yola Airport

A Max Air aircraft with 119 passengers and 6 crew members travelling from Yola airport to Abuja late Sunday night had a tyre burst after being cleared for take off.
A statement by the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection of the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, Bimbo Oladeji, revealed that the incident happened at 11:22 pm but no death or injury was recorded as all passengers were safely cleared.
The statement revealed that two tyres burst initially when the aircraft was still at the runway before the remaining two tyres also burst rendering the aircraft disabled.
A team led by the NSIB Director General Captain Alex Badeh is set to visit the site today for further investigation.
