Malnourished #EndBadGovernance protesters arraigned in Abuja court

The detained 76 #EndBadGovernance protesters which included some teenagers who were allegedly were seen in a distressing state upon arrival at the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment before Justice Obiora Egwuatu.
In some videos circulating the internet, the protesters seen in the courtroom, mainly minors, looked malnourished as four of them were hurriedly rushed out of the courtroom as they couldn’t stand on their feet.
Some were also groaning on the floor as some persons brought them biscuits and bottled water.
A voice in the background stated, “As you can see, they have been malnourished. They haven’t eaten for the past four days. They’ve been kept by the government in detention. These are boys between 12, 13, 14 years old.
“They haven’t had food; they are malnourished, they are sick, they were slumping. They’ve been kept for three months. They have been left without food. We had to provide food for them.”
The 76 protesters, who were arrested in Abuja, Kaduna, Gombe, Jos, Katsina, and Kano states, are being accused of treason, among other offences.
