Liverpool vs Man City: Klopp gives injury update on Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has provided the latest injury update on Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

Klopp said Mane might be available for Liverpool against Pep Guardiola’s men, while Jota may be out of action for four weeks.

Mane and Jota missed Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat against Brighton on Wednesday night at Anfield due to injury.

Providing an update on both players, Klopp was quoted by Liverpool’s official website as saying: “Diogo is – I don’t know exactly – a couple of weeks, two, three, four. I am not sure.

“And Sadio we will see. He might be available for the weekend [against Man City], I don’t know.

“He didn’t train with the team today. We will see.”

Liverpool are seven points behind leaders Manchester City on the Premier League table.
