Lagos State Police Releases Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church, who turned himself in yesterday at the Lagos State Police Command over a viral video in which he was seen holding a gun-like object against another road user, has been released.

The bail of the clergyman was made known by Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer on X, who stated that the senior pastor was interrogated and made statements that will be used by investigators.

Hundeyin also revealed that the gun-like object was a stun gun and not a real lethal weapon; it is an anti-riot device that is prohibited.

He further stated that though Pastor Paul has been bailed, investigations are still ongoing.
