Lagos Build Collapse, Three Confirmed Dead

In the early hours of Thursday at No 13, Wilson Mba Street, Arowojobe Estate in Maryland, Lagos State, a building under construction collapsed killing three persons.

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency through its Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed to the pressmen that the three men brought out dead from the rubble were workers at the site.

The sad incident, which occurred at about 3:49am, was responded immediately with their teams to the scene at 3:58 am, where the construction was ongoing.

While three others were rescued alive from the rubble and rushed for medical attention. Currently a LASEMA excavator has been deployed to continue search and rescue.
