The leadership of the Nigeria Senate has been called to have a discussion with the administration of President Bola Tinubu and the Nigeria Labour Congress to avoid the intending strike of the Labour force.

This move was made by a majority of the house members on Monday after NLC had scheduled Wednesday for a nationwide strike against the policies of Tinubu’s administration.

The motion was moved by Suleiman Kawu Sumaila from NNPP, Kano drawing the attention of the Senate to the planned reversal of policies that are neck-breaking or face the anti-masses strike

According to Sen. Kawu, if the strike is not averted then everyone should be ready to face the outcome as even the economy will be stranded.

In a resolution by the House, Jibrin Isa from Kogi State said the President was not happy with the suffering of the masses but it is a path that the nation must walk through to become great again.

Urging the House to speak with the presidency, Seriake Dickson from Bayelsa said the N500 billion for palliatives was not enough.
