Kano Governor Order Closure Of MDAs Accounts

The Governor of Kano State, Kabiru Abba Yusuf, has ordered the Accountant General of the State to close all accounts linked to departments, ministries, and agencies in the state with immediate effect.

The directive was given at the State House by Governor Yusuf during a meeting with the Chairman of Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs.

According to the Governor, it’s to ensure proper accountability of government revenues, utilizing it for the interest of the state.
