Justice Kudirat Kekere-Edun Appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria

Following the ongoing close door meeting by the National Judicial Council, held in Abuja on Thursday, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has been appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria in awaiting.

27 candidates were also recommended and appointed to different state high courts in the country.

This move became necessary as the current Chief of Justice, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola will retire on August 22 as he clocks retirement age.
