Post created on 11:46 am
Israeli top ministers seem excited over the death of Hamas’s top leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in Iran.
The Palestinian group leader in exile was killed following an attack at his residence.
No statement has been made by the Israeli government, but the Minister of Heritage, Amichay Eliyahu, on X, wrote, “Haniyeh’s death makes the world a little better.”
“Be careful what you wish for.”
However, Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV cited senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk as saying the assassination was a cowardly act and will not go unpunished.
