The former Commissioner representing Isoko in the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo says agitation by the leaders and Youths of the South South for the Board of the NDDC to be inaugurated means well for the development of the region, as the region is weary of the sole administration by the minister of the Niger Delta.

Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo made this known while speaking with Crown FM Correspondent in Oleh in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said “nobody is happy with the way the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is being managed right now. It is shameful that for three years now the Commission is being run without a board”

He called on the President to as a matter of urgency constitute the board.

Speaking on his move for the Delta state House of Assembly instead of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly, Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo said “anyone who really wants to serve the people should never look at Position but service to humanity”.
