Ibom Air Denies Releasing Naked Video of Unruly Passenger

The incident between Ibom Air and Ms. Comfort Emmanson has taken another turn, with critics and supporters weighing in on the behavior of the airline following the Sunday incident.

Speaking about the issue, the management of Ibom Air denied releasing the naked video of the unruly passenger who was dragged off the airplane at Murtala International Airport, Lagos.

Essienette stated that the footage taken on the aircraft was not recorded by Ibom Air staff, as such an act is against the company’s policy. Anyone could have made the video and posted it online; however, they regretted that it has gone viral.

Comfort has been remanded in the Nigerian correctional center, Kirikiri, while the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has called on witnesses on board to speak out for fairness on both side.
