High Court Adjourns Hostcom Case Against Okowa And Predecessor

The Delta state High court in Warri on Tuesday adjourned till October a case brought before it by members of Delta state Oil and Gas Host Communities HOSTCOM against immediate past governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his predecessor Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan over alleged mismanagement of 50% of the 13% oil proceed derivation belonging to Delta state Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC.

The case was adjourned as the courts embarked on recess.

Speaking to newsmen one of the complainants and Environmental activist, Sherrif Mulade said the group is not witch hunting anyone, rather they are fighting for the legitimate funds belonging to Oil producing Communities.
