Group Questions NNPCL Over Port Harcourt Refinery Delay

Post created on 1:45 pm

Concerns have begun rising over the distrust among stakeholders involved in the Port Harcourt refinery as the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, is yet to commence production in the refinery.

Showing their disappointment over numerous failed promises, the Niger Delta Youth Network, NDYN, clearly shows a cabal is deliberately exploiting the region of its natural resources.

In a statement by NDYN group through its convener, Dakuku Francis demanded a detailed explanation from NNPCL over repeated delays as information is moving around that stakeholders in the oil sector plan on using the refinery as a blending company.

The youths, therefore, called on Mele Kyari to come out on a clean slate about the issues surrounding the Port Harcourt refinery instead of leaving the region in the dark.
