The Ghanaian government has yet to respond to the lamentations of its citizens crying and protesting that Nigerians be repatriated out of Ghana because of various crimes committed.

Protests have hit various streets in Ghana against Nigerians, with placards carrying various inscriptions: “Armed robbery and violent attacks must stop;” “Our health is at stake due to mass prostitution;” “Who protects the rights and freedoms of Ghanaians?” “Nigerians are kidnapping and using people for rituals;” “Our kids are going missing because of Igbos,” among others.

A picture of a man allegedly killed by a Nigerian in Accra was also displayed by the protesters in a viral video on Tuesday.

This new protest comes in the midst of the call by Ghanaians for a Nigerian Igbo man to leave the country after making claims that he would build schools, a town hall, and a kingdom in Ghana for the Igbos.
