Ghana Mourns As Plane Crash Kills Defence Minister and Others

A tragic helicopter crash has claimed the life of Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dominic Aduna Bingab Boamah, along with eight other individuals in the Ashanti Region.

The unfortunate incident occurred when the Defence Minister’s aircraft, en route to Obuasi, lost control, struck a tree in Adansi Brofoyedu, and immediately caught fire.

Four dismembered bodies have been recovered from the scene, while the search is still ongoing for the remaining bodies.

With a full investigation launched, preliminary findings indicate that the cause was poor visibility or a mechanical fault.
