Former LP Aide, Dr Doyin Okupe Is Dead

Prominent Nigerian politician and former presidential spokesperson of Peter Obi campaign, Dr. Doyin Okupe has been reported dead at age 72.

News of Okupe’s health was making the rounds on Friday morning but was later confirmed by sources close to the family.

Sources and associates of the family revealed that the former Director has been battling cancer but became critical a few weeks back leading to his death.

Okupe during his time as the Director-General of Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council was forced to step down over an allegation of money laundering.
