Focus on Niger people-oriented development-Okowa tells NDDC

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has urged the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to focus on the development of the Niger Delta with a vision that is people-oriented.

Governor Okowa made the call on Thursday when the Interim Administrator of the Commission, Mr Effiong Akwa and his management team, came on a courtesy visit to the Government House in Asaba.

The Governor urged the NDDC to embark on projects that will positively impact the people for the sake of sustainability. He further charged the NDDC to partner the governments in the region in its activities in the interest of the region.
