Students of College of Education Warri on Thursday protested against alleged intimidation and victimization of students by management of the institution led by the provost Prof Mary Onire Edema.

The protesters who staged a peaceful protest to crown FM AND Kpoko FM office along airport road amongst other things alleged that some of the final year students were yet to see their 100 level results as well as impromptu increment of school fees.

The students also alleged discrepancies in the result they get from their department and the ones displayed on the schools’ online portal.

Reacting, the school through its spokesperson, Vusi Enakarire debunked the allegations saying the protesting students have not seen their result because they are yet to pay their school fee hence their results cannot be accessed via the school online portal.

On the issue of fees increment, Ms Enakarire maintained  that what the students described as the school fees  hike was the  5, 500 penalty for late payment and  registration.
