FiFA issues a 5-year ban to CAF president, Ahmad Ahmad

The confederation of Africa Football, CAF, president, Ahmad Ahmad, has been handed a five-year ban from the game, by FIFA.

The ethics committee of the world’s football governing body found the CAF leader “had breached his duty of loyalty, offered gifts and other benefits, mismanaged funds and abused his positions as the CAF President.”

Ahmad is campaigning to be re-elected for another four years as CAF chief.
