FG Declares June 12 Democracy Public Holiday

To mark this year’s 2024 democracy day, tomorrow June 12 has been declared a public holiday by the Federal Government.

Speaking through the Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo in a statement signed by, the Permanent Secretary Aishetu Gogo Ndayakon, Nigerians are urged to reflect on the efforts of the nation’s founding fathers.

The minister reeled out President Tinubu’s commitment to reviving the nation’s economy and security and also called on Nigerians to look forward to a better democracy day.
