Family Confirms Edwin Clark Is Dead.

Few days after the reported passing of Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, another prominent leader in the Niger Delta has died.

Reports have it that (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, an elder statesman, died on Tuesday at the age of 97.

In a statement released on Tuesday by the family through a representative, Prof. C.C. Clark, the former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South leader’s death occurred on 17th February.

It says the Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town appreciates prayers at this time, and other details will be announced by the family.
