With the ongoing battle of the Emirship position in Kano State, the State government had earlier pointed an accusing finger at the Nigeria Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu for wanting to force the dethroned Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero on the state by giving him his private jet down to Kano

The allegation was refuted by Ribadu and his office,  vowing to petition the state government for such malicious claims.

However, in a press briefing today Monday, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, tendered an open apology to the National Security Adviser.

Gwarzo said they have seen the publications and the suit going to court by the NSA office and acknowledge that they were just misled thinking that the NSA was behind the happenings.

He apologized on behalf of the state government and his office for such embarrassment caused to Ribadu and his office cause they were shocked to hear Ribadu’s name mentioned in the plot to impose the deposed Emir.
