Ehie To Be Sworn In As Chief Of Staff In Rivers State

Former Speaker of the River State House of Assembly, Edison Ehie has been appointed Chief of Staff to Governor Sim Fubara.

Ehie the factional speaker of the assembly a loyalist to Fubara, stood by the Governor when other lawmakers under the Martin-led faction wanted to impeach him and also the burning down of the assembly complex.

In a statement signed by the state SSG Fubara also approved Dr Darlington Orji, Prince Solomon Abel Eke, Barr, Aminayanasam Fiberesima, Engr. Deetah Bariene and Ohia Prince as special advisers.

The newly appointed Chief of Staff and Special Advisers are to be sworn in at around 10:30 today at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House.
