EFCC Arrests Former Anambra Governor, Chris Ngige

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the former governor of Anambra State, Chris Ngige, in Abuja.

Earlier reports indicated that the former Minister of Labour was kidnapped, but his media aide, Fred Chukwulobe, debunked this, confirming his arrest on Wednesday night.

In the statement, Chukwulobe wrote, “Former Governor of Anambra State and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, is with the EFCC. More details later.”
