DTSG Orders Replacement of Refurbished Transformers.

…Calls for Reconstruction of some Streets in Asaba

The Delta State Government has ordered the contractor responsible for the supplied and installed refurbished transformers as against brand new ones, in some localities in Ika North-East, Ika South and Aniocha South Local Government Areas of the state, to replace them immediately.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring/Audit, Engr. Dr. Goodnews Agbi, gave the order while inspecting the transformers and Power improvement in Ekuku Agbor and Environs for the purpose of rehabilitating and reinforcing electricity power supply in the area.

Agbi who was not pleased with what he met on ground, noted that Government had provided funds for the project to be executed and it is only fair that the people in the various localities enjoy the dividend of democracy.

Other areas inspected were, the renovated Primary Healthcare Center in Boji-Boji Owa, which seems not to have been completed and the Construction of Odilison E.C Junior Crescent, Ngozi Odiaka avenue and Odilison close Asaba in Oshimili South Local Government Area where Agbi expressed his disappointment and called for the contractors to revisit the sites respectively.
