DTSG Calls For a Change of Mindset in Stakeholders

… Encourages Proper Water Hygiene for Longevity

 

Delta State Commissioner for Water Resources Development, Isaac Wilkie, has called on staff members of the ministry to have a changed mindset and be more cooperative in embracing positivity within and outside the sector.

Wilkie who made the call during a 2-day stakeholders consultation workshop for the development of action plans for components of the Delta State WASH sector policy, institutional and regulatory action plan organized by the Delta State Government and the Mangrove and Partners limited at the Ministry’s Auditorium in Prof. Chike Edozien Secretariat enjoined participants to utilize the opportunity so as to contribute positively to the water sector as well as improve on policies that lead to the progress of the Ministry.

He reiterated the importance of water with the popular saying that ‘water is life’, insisting that all hands must be on deck to correct every abnormality in the minds of every water user.

The Commissioner is, however, hopeful that the training will be greatly impactful in the lives of every participant as they utilise their potential in promoting proper hygiene for longevity of life.
