Don’t use forensic audits to deny the Niger Delta their rights- Monarch

The Ovie Of Idjere Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Obukowho Whiskey, Odurhie 1, says the federal government must not use the forensic audit currently going on at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC to deny the Niger Delta the development it deserves.

King Obukowho made this known while speaking to newsmen in Ijesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State. He asserted that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is a Commonwealth that should not be toiled with by one man in the name of Forensic Audit.

Speaking exclusively to Crown FM Correspondent in his palace, the Jesse monarch stated that it is constitutionally wrong for a Board to be constituted and now they have not been inaugurated to kick the ground running.

He called on President Buhari to as a matter of urgency inaugurate the Board and return NDDC back to the Presidency with the Supervision of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
