Democracy Day: Minimum Wage Will Soon Be Sent To Senate

In pacifying the hopes of Nigerian workers, President Bola Tinubu in his democracy speech today, said the new minimum wage bill will soon be sent to the national assembly.

The President reiterated his commitment to Nigerians, the growth of the economy and ensuring stability in all sectors.

Negotiations between the Federal government and organized Labour were welcomed in good faith according to the President.

He also revealed in his speech that there was no form of arrest or harassment of any worker unlike what could have been obtained in the military era but his government chose the path of peace.
