Ekedayen while speaking with newsmen noted that the budget defence is an annual ritual and a part of open governance protocol, urging all MDAs to be as honest as possible to achieve the vision of the MORE AGENDA of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Amongst the first MDAs that defended their budget was the Warri, Uvwie, and Environs Special Area Development Agency, where the Director General, Godwin Ejinyere, reaffirmed Governor Oborevwori’s position to transform Warri and it’s environs to it usual glory both in appearance and beautification.

Ejinyere disclosed that their budget which was N8 billion as at 2024, has been reviewed upward to N9.5 billion which according to him, was also insufficient.
