Deadly Terrorists Attack Leaves Over 100 People Dead In Burkina Faso

Terrorists have launched an attack in Barsalogho village, north-central of Burkina Faso leaving dozens of civilians and soldiers dead.

The armed terrorist group stormed the village at about 9:00 am killing young men who came to assist the military men in digging trenches around the town to protect themselves from terrorist attacks.

Security sources said unspecific numbers of civilians and security forces were confirmed dead, with others injured and rushed to the regional capital in Kaya for medical attention.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but another security source said the response of soldiers and auxiliary troops was what made the tragedy not to be worse.

A hospital source in Kaya, however, reported that more than 100 people were rushed to the medical center.
