Davido, Lojay debut on Billboard Hot 100

Afrobeat star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and Nigerian singer and songwriter Lekan Osifeso Jnr. popularly known has Lojay has made their first appearance on billboards Hot 100.

Davido made his Hot 100 entry after “Sensational”, a song in which Chris Brown featured Davido and Lojay debuted No. 96.

The song is from Chris Brown’s 11th studio album 11:11 which was released in November.

Davido made his first appearance into billboard chart when his two most recent albums, Timeless (2020) and Timeless (2023) reached billboards 200 on No.170 and No. 37 respectively and has had other appearances since then.

Lojay made his first appearance on Billboard chart with a Chris Brown collaboration “Monalisa” and “Sarz” in 2022.

Davido and Lojay now join Wizkid, CKay, Fireboy, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema as Nigerians to have appeared on the Billboard Hot 100.
