American actor, Cuba Gooding Jr. has pleaded guilty to a one-count charge on Wednesday of violating three different women at various nightspots in Manhattan in 2018 and 2019.

The plea came three years after Gooding’s arrest in the case that caused several delays as his lawyers sought to get it dismissed or reduced charges.

Gooding admitted to subjecting two women to nonconsensual contact in 2018 and 2019.

The New York Times reports “I am sorry for making anybody feel inappropriate touched,” Gooding said in court.

The actor will avoid jail term because of his plea but must continue alcohol and behavior modification treatment he started in 2019 for six more months and no new arrest.

Gooding was arrested in 2019 after a woman complained to police that he squeezed her breast without her consent at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge near Times Square.
