Court Orders EFCC To Release Emefiele

Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Former Governor Central Bank of Nigeria 

The EFCC has been ordered by a Federal High Court in Abuja to release the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele unconditionally or Produce him to Court on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Emefiele who has been in the custody of the DSS since his suspension as the CBN governor by President Bola Tinubu, was released by the agency and handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
