Court Grants Former Aviation Minister, N100m Bail

Bordering on an alleged mismanagement of funds tuning to the sum of 2.7 billion naira, the Former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika and his daughter were arraigned before the Federal High Court today in Abuja.

The petition of fraud was filed against the Former Minister by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a six-count charge and abuse of office.

At the court sitting today Thursday, the judge granted Hadi Sirika and his daughter Fatima bail of N100 million.

The conditions attached to the bail are a responsible sureties with landed properties in Abuja and proof to show such.

Recalled that Hadi Sirika was invited by the EFCC to give a detailed explanation of how the funds for the supposed Nigerian Air were spent and still invisible.
