CNN tackles FG: Our report is solid

CNN says it is standing by its report that soldiers used live bullets on #EndSARS protesters in Lagos.
On Wednesday, CNN published an investigation which uncovered evidence that soldiers used live rounds on protesters who had converged on Lekki tollgate on October 20th.
CNN was reacting to comments by Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed calling for the international organisation to be sanctioned for practising “irresponsible journalism” by relying on “unverified” videos sourced from social media.
In a statement, the international media house said, “CNN stands by its investigation. Stating that the reporting was carefully and meticulously researched”.
