Clean Your Environment or Face Prosecution, Delta Government

In line with the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Delta State, there shall be a restriction of movement from 7:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

The restriction will affect persons and vehicles in the state for three hours in order for residents to effectively clean their environment and prevent the spread of diseases.

The statement from the state government, through the Director of Public Communication/Functioning Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Harold Ojji, made this known on Wednesday, July 23.

Residents are therefore advised to clean their drainages and cut overgrown grasses, and any defaulter will be brought before a mobile magistrate court for prosecution.
