Bwala Is A Liar – APC Chieftain Osinowo

Controversies and criticism have trailed Daniel Bwala, the presidential aide of President Bola Tinubu, over his comments with journalist Hassan of Al Jazeera in the United Kingdom. Even a chieftain of the APC, Ibrahim Osinowo, has thrown heavy stones at Bwala.

Speaking on News Central Television on Monday, Osinowo blasted Bwala, stating that he wasn’t speaking for the Nigerian government, as the only official spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu remains Bayo Onanuga.

Osinowo accused Bwala of attempting to gain national prominence through controversial statements as Many Nigerians see him as a liar, but the reason he traveled was just to rebuild his image.

He insisted that Bwala was a liar who had made controversial remarks about Tinubu, alleging that the President created a militia, a statement he described as false.

The backlash against Bwala started after the interview, where the journalist quoted him on words he had earlier commented about President Tinubu. However, Bwala, in a statement on Saturday, claimed that he was never told that the interview would take such a tone; otherwise, he would have prepared for it.
