BREAKING: Matawalle appoints Hassan Nasiha as deputy governor

Following the impeachment of former Deputy Governor Barrister Mahdi Aliyu Gusau on Wednesday, the Governor of Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle has appointed Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha Gusau as Deputy Governor.

Senator Hassan Nasiha until his appointment was the Senator representing the Zamfara Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly.

Meanwhile, the state House of Assembly in its resumed plenary on Wednesday had impeached Barrister Mahdi Aliyu Muhammad Gusau as the Deputy Governor of the state with immediate effect.
