Attack On Oil Vessel By Pro-Biafra Militants Leaves 2 Dead

Suspected militants linked and loyal to a group called Biafra Nations League, BNL, have reportedly shot dead two escorts of an oil vessel near Cameroonian waters.

According to reports from the Daily Post,  eyewitnesses said the incident happened at about 4 am in the Idabato subdivision of the Bakassi Peninsula, an area controlled by Cameroon.

The witnesses also claimed that the militants had also attacked the vessel which was not on the move and whose origin was not ascertained.

”They attempted to set the vessel ablaze”, another source revealed.
