ASUU to go on one month warning strike

After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the Academic Staff Union of University has voted to embark on an industrial action today, Monday 14, 2022, to press home its demand from the government.

The one month strike is to allow Federal Government do the needful, failure to do so will call for the Union to go on an indefinite strike.

By 9am ASUU will address a press conference to announce the resolutions of the two day meeting with National Executive Council, NEC.

ASUU had sensitised and mobilised lecturers and students across all universities on the reason the union might likely go on strike.
