ASUU Threatens FG With Another Strike Action

The leadership of the Academic Staff Union of  University, ASUU, has threatened to go on an indefinite strike if the federal government refuses to reintroduce the governing councils of universities across the country that were earlier dissolved.

In May last year, the government had put a hold on the governing council, the board amongst other issues raised says Nigerians should not blame them for any action taken.

Showing their grievances, at the National Secretariat in Abuja, the President of ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, said the action of the government will be protected by ASUU.
