Army Apprehends Three Suspected Kidnappers in Ughelli

Three suspected kidnappers in Ughelli North have been arrested by the Nigerian Army following a credible tip-off that led to a gun battle in which one of the suspects sustained injuries.
Making the information known on Tuesday in Asaba, Capt. Iliyasu Bawa, the Assistant Director and Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Army, disclosed that the operation was made successful with the joint help of troops from the 63 Brigade/Sector 1 Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe (OPDS).
The suspects are 31-year-old Justwill Brodeick, who sustained gunshot wounds and was taken for treatment, while 29-year-old Olokepomu Kelvin and 22-year-old Oghenekaro Jonathan were arrested, with investigations ongoing.
To make security easier, Deltans are urged to be vigilant and report any credible information that will enhance peace and security in the state.
