Another Bomb Found In Kaduna Community 24hours after

The Residents of Shanono in Shanono LGA of Kaduna has discovered another Improvised ‎Explosives Device (IED) on Friday.

The IED was detected 24 hours after one device concealed in a bucket was found on Thursday but was deactivated by the state anti-bomb squad.

Tijjani Umar a resident, told Daily Trust that children in the community discovered Friday’s object in a jerrycan covered with a black nylon, kept in same spot where the Thursday IED was discovered.

Spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the discovery, saying anti-bomb squad team were mobilised to the area.

“The area has been cordoned off so as to protect the people from getting hurt while our men are there to defuse the device,” he said.
