Americans Know Me Too Well, I Will Skip Presidential Debate –Trump

On Sunday former president of the United States, Donald Trump said he will skip this week’s first Republican presidential debate.

The ex president now re-contesting for the presidency argued that Americans know him well therefore he needs no public showdown with his rivals for the White House.

Trump said this on Truth his social media platform noting that his hugely successful record as president and popularity among the American people will do more.

“I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!” he said.

The first debate in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination is scheduled for Wednesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

However, in a post published by CBS News on Sunday, Trump noted the latest in a wave of polls showing him far, far out ahead of the Republican field.
