Akwa-Ibom CP, Waheed Ayilara is Dead

The State Police Commissioner in Akwa-Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara, is reported to have passed on in the early hours of today, Thursday.

According to sources close to the family, Ayilara had undergone prostrate cancer surgery on Wednesday in Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja, but died hours later.

” We are very sad to inform you that our friend, brother and family, the Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara is dead,” the family member said.
