Again Bandits Attack Kwara State

Residents of Isapa, a community neighboring Eruku in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, were thrown into a state of anarchy on Monday evening due to gunshots from terrorists, kidnapping 11 persons.

The attackers, estimated to be between 20 and 30 men with herds of cattle, advanced towards the community at about 6 PM on November 24, spraying bullets that hit an elderly woman.

Eyewitnesses recounted how several houses were targeted, leaving bullet holes in the walls and doors.

A Community leader speaking on anonymity disclosed that a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers and several people were abducted.

The abductees are Talatu Kabiru (Female, 20) Magaji (Male, 6) Kande (Female, 5) Hadiza (Female, 10) Mariam (Female, 6) Saima (Female, 5) a house wife Habibat, a housewife, Fatima Yusufu, A pregnant woman, Sarah Sunday (Female, 22) Lami Fidelis (Female, 23, nursing mother) and Haja Na Allah (Nursing mother)

While an official report is yet to be released by security agencies, residents are on alert.
